Saudi Arabia occupies most of the Arabian Peninsula. China is Saudi Arabia's largest trading partner. In 2018, bilateral trade volume reached $61.4 billion, up 32% year on year, accounting for 17% of Saudi Arabia's total foreign trade in the same period.
Currently it has the following very important ports：
1.Jeddah Islamic Port
The port's location on the Red Sea, halfway between the shipping routes that connect East and West through the Suez Canal.
The port's location has established Jeddah as the economic capital of Saudi Arabia. Jeddah is also the second largest city in Saudi Arabia. The Jeddah Islamic Port is not only the second largest port in Arab countries and the largest container port, but also one of the busiest ports in the region.
2.DAMMAM Port
Dammam is also Saudi Arabia's main port in the Persian Gulf and a major export port for the oil industry. The port has a refrigerated cargo terminal, two general cargo terminals, shared container and bulk grain terminals and the first and second container terminals.
3.RIYADH Port---inland port
RIYADH is the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the seat of the Royal Palace and the capital of Riyadh Province. RIYADH is also an inland port, where goods are transferred via another Saudi port, Dammam.
4.Gizan Port
Gizan Port , also on the Red Sea coast, is used mainly for the import of livestock and barley, the export of general goods and the export of clinker and cement.
5.Jubail Port
Jubail is a port in eastern Saudi Arabia. The Jubail Commercial Port was established in 1976 AD and all its facilities were completed in 1979. Covering an area of about 4,125,940 square metres, the port is one of the largest projects of its kind. The location of the port was carefully chosen because of the water depth nearby.
